" Books on Wheels from one place to another. From one residential society to another in the city of Pune! They call themselves PustakWale. Amazing concept by Ashay & Rutica Walambe. They were simply catering to those book lovers who needed to touch, see, hear, feel, taste & smell the book. I was one of them. What I had missed most during the lockdown? You got it right - a visit to a book-shop to browse through books. Just yesterday I was wondering when I would get my chance to visit a book shop again. Today, I had gone out for some routine errands. On my return as I was entering our parking I found some hustle & bustle in the area where our vegetable vendor puts daily stalls. Saturday was an off for him. I slowed down & asked the watchman about the same. He replied - Sir, someone has brought books to sell. OMG, it was like God always listening to what I wanted. Yes, I visited the stall, looked at some & then my eyes gleamed as I picked The Pocket Rumi. Simply an awesome experience & feel in those moments. "

To do the amazing work of spreading the joy of reading we are joined by youthful people who help us deliver a great experience to you all, currently PustakWale is a team of 50+ young book lovers who have joined us under our Earn & Learn program.
Under Earn & Learn program the proceedings of sales of books is used to pay the incentives of these young minds.
It is satisfying to see our initiative being appreciated by people of all ages. It is humbling to know that we are praised by the media. What started as a simple venture of sharing our bibliophilia, is now our "IKIGAI"
